Coconut oil has become one of the important beauty products because of its naturally antibacterial and anti fungal. Therefore, coconut oil is a great product for skin and hair. Why coconut oil is good for our skin? Let’s identify coconut oil composition.
1. Saturated fats
Coconut oil contains saturated fats which can retain the moisture content of the skin as the fats can eliminate moisture loss through the pores on skin. When coconut oil is applied on the skin, it can keep the skin healthy and smooth which can give an even tone and reduce the appearance of the pores.
2. Capric , Caprylic and Lauric acid
Coconut oil contains capric, caprylic and lauric acid which are also fatty acid that have strong disinfectant and antimicrobial mediums. When someone has wound on the skin and apply coconut oil on the skin, coconut oil can protect the wound from infection or prevent the infections get into the pores.
3. Vitamin E
To have healthy and smooth skin, Vitamin E is needed because it can repair of wear and tear on the skin. Vitamin E keeps the skin smooth and protects against cracking and dry. It also helps to prevent premature aging and wrinkles on the face because Vitamin E is a good antioxidant properties. Therefore, when applying coconut oil on the skin or face, it can keep the skin smooth and keep the skin youthful looking.
